Mark your calendars! Shanghai LEGOLAND® Resort, set to open this summer in Jinshan District, has announced its tiered ticketing system with adult prices starting at 319 RMB(~44 USD) and topping out at 599 RMB(~83 USD) for peak periods. Designed as a whimsical wonderland for families with children aged 2–12, this highly anticipated attraction promises immersive play, cultural discovery, and next-level LEGO® magic.

A First Look at the Park

Spanning 31.8 hectares (78.5 acres), the resort features eight themed zones, including a global debut: Monkie Kid™, inspired by China’s legendary Journey to the West. This groundbreaking area transforms the beloved animated series into a real-world adventure, blending Chinese mythology with interactive builds and rides. Other zones—such as LEGO® Castle, LEGO® City, and LEGO® NINJAGO®—will spark creativity across generations, while Bricktopia’s kaleidoscopic towers and Friends’ heartwarming Heartlake City add to the park’s vibrant energy.

Why It Matters

As the first LEGOLAND in China and the largest in East Asia, this resort elevates Shanghai’s family travel appeal. The Monkie Kid zone, in particular, stands out as a cultural bridge—proving that ancient tales and modern play can coalesce into something extraordinary.
